STREET STYLE: LONDON, CLAPTON, CHATSWORTH ROAD II

We met Kasia Maciejowska on Chatsworth Road. A writer based in London, she recently wrote a fantastic book “The House of Beauty and Culture” to coincide with the Judy Blame: Never Again exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Arts.

We loved her laid back style with her simple dress in a warm coppery brown that was perfect for her colouring paired with trainers, half top knot and natural make up.

We asked her a few questions about her style…

How long did it take you to get ready this morning? 30 minutes.

Where do you get your style inspiration from? Vintage fashion editorials, my gay friends and the 80s/90s- which I explore in my book.

In terms of Instagram, I am inspired by @judyblame @adwoaaboah and @amelie.hegardt.

How would you describe your style? My friend here calls it “Grungey Slick”.

Which piece in your wardrobe do you wear the most? Ripped, baggy, vintage levi’s and white t-shirts.

What would be your top style tip? Wear what makes you feel like yourself.
