We love the nineties influence in fashion this year and it has us revisiting one of our muses, the actress Winona Ryder tonight.
A teen hero, she was the star of many iconic films from the decade. Her style, during that period, would probably best be described as nineties grunge.
Despite BORN AT DAWN having a bit more of a feminine, minimal aesthetic overall, we loved some of her looks from this era. For instance, her leather jackets, slip dresses and denim.
Above all else though, we love her attitude and how she just wore what she felt like.
Apparently she once wore a $10 dress to the Oscars. She didn’t change her style to fit in to Hollywood and there is nothing better than being true to yourself.
